Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American author, singer and actor most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s she began her acting career on stage with Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage actor in a few Broadway shows before gaining her way to national prominence with Li'l Abner' in 1957. The same year, She recorded her first album of songs, called It's the Time for Tina. Louise debuted in Hollywood in God's Little Acre which was a dramatic that was released in the year 1958. She was Griselda the main character of the movie. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to juggle between Broadway and Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character opposed her perceived image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she's also earned her name as a director who has been successful in various well-known television shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family moved out of Essex to Toronto and she lived there for childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision to play the lead.
