Kirsten Vangsness has been an American actress since the 90s. Her most notable role was that of Penelope Garcia, a police procedural in the TV show Criminal Minds. Kirsten vangsness was also in both of the spin-offs "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" as well as "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior". Though she's mostly an actress for TV, she has also done some minor parts in movies since her debut in the show business in the year 1998. Her film work includes some of the notable performances include 'In My Dream', The Chicago 8', and Kill Me, Deadly. She has written articles for The Los Angeles Times and co-wrote episodes of Criminal Minds. She frequently rescues and rehabilitates abandoned and injured cats.
