Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a British musician and singer. She was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986 in Hereford. Ellie Goulding's enthralling electronic style quickly propelled her to the top charts after she drew the attention of the public in 2010. Her ability to accomplish this through the singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her unique soprano sibilance and knack for writing engaging, but emotionally honest songs, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap is at the top of modern mainstream music as well as an independent, artistic pop.Goulding soon graduated from blogs to print media, gaining praise from mainstream publications like The Guardian and fielding offers from record labels. The final decision was to sign a major label deal with Polydor Records and began making preparations to launch her debut album.
